The Elves have now confirmed that Santa's sleigh will be serviced ready for his journey from Biggar & Upper Clydesdale Museum to the Gillespie Centre on Friday 28th November arriving at around 5.20pm! Tickets are now available for Friday Evening and Saturday and a present list is being compiled by the Elves. Book your slot with a visit to the Gillespie Centre Cafe. During Santa's visit the cafe will be open and the Craft Fair with lots of lovely stalls...

The Gillespie Centre ‘Access for all’ project is well underway – the lift will be ready for use during mid-October and this will benefit individuals who struggle with the stairs to the Upper Floor.  We are also in the midst of installing an accessible toilet on the Upper Floor.  The toilets on the ground floor will be refurbished during early November.  Our thanks to our Funders and the many individuals who have contributed to make this project possible.  ...

We thought it might be helpful to share how the gifting of flowers works in Biggar Kirk and at the same time appeal for additional support to ensure we continue with this tradition. Flower Guild members receive money from our funds to buy flowers which they place in the Church ready for Sunday morning. After the Service, the flowers will be delivered to someone in the Biggar area bringing a double purpose with the flowers being appreciated during the Service...
